Around 1992 I started to translate the novel 'Blue Of Noon' by the French author Georges Bataille in English. At night I started a series of 'sketches', ejaculations on A5 paper. Continued working with all materials that were available to me; paint, ink, coffee, tobacco and ash, to name a few. Altogether around 130 of those small works of art did emerge. I've lost the exact number. A few were sold, several got lost. Over the years, parts of the series were exhibited and published in magazines. And now published in a book, dedicated to Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven. She helped me tremendously with the translation, which unfortunately has never seen the light of day.
